Here’s what’s on offer to make your stay as enjoyable as possible - plus some frequently asked questions. If there’s something we can do to improve your time with us, don’t hesitate to ask.

Rooms

Each room is furnished with a queen bed (with the exception of the king suites) and Casper mattress with high thread count linens. Rooms include a mini-fridge, flat screen television with cable, free WiFi, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer, as well as a selection of local beer and snacks from The Spinster Sisters available for purchase. We have a limited number of pet-friendly rooms (at an additional charge of $35/pet per night).

Astro Lounge

The Astro Lounge is a stylish and welcoming space open daily from 7 AM to 10 PM, offering plush seating, mid-century decor, and a vintage sound system. Guests can enjoy a complimentary breakfast from 7 AM to 11 AM featuring coffee, tea, yogurt, and granola from The Spinster Sisters Pantry. The lounge also hosts wine tastings with local partners and is available to reserve for team meetings, retreats, or private gatherings. 

Sputnik Meeting Room

Introducing the Sputnik Meeting Room at The Astro Motel—our brand-new conference space designed for big ideas and meaningful gatherings. Whether you’re planning a team retreat, a board meeting, a creative brainstorming session, or a catered dinner with friends, this flexible space is yours to make your own. The Grounds

We’ve transformed the space into a vibrant garden featuring fruit trees like plum, apple, lemon, mandarin, fig, and cherry, all available for guests to pick and enjoy. Scattered throughout are inviting seating areas, an herb garden, and a cozy fire pit. You’ll also find public art across the grounds, including sculptures by local artist Mary Fuller McChesney and a stunning mural on our north wall by artist Amy Sol.

Now, we’re excited to introduce a new outdoor event space near the fire pit—perfect for celebrations, gatherings, and special events. Plus, guests have access to our Sputnik Meeting Room for team retreats, workshops, and private dinners. With lush garden beds and flexible spaces to connect, create, and unwind, The Astro is more than a place to stay—it’s a place to gather.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Check-in is from 3pm - 10pm, and check-out is at 11am. We’ll do our best to accomodate any requests for an early check-in or late check-out. If you need to check in after our front office closes at 10, we have lockboxes available for you to pick up your keys after hours, and 24-hour on call front desk staff.

  • Yes - the Astro has a parking lot located directly in front of the motel with designated disabled placard parking and a loading & unloading zone. The front parking lot is limited, but we do have a second parking lot available just behind the lobby.

  • Yes - bring your pets! We charge a pet fee of $35/pet per night, and have a number of pet friendly rooms. We also have a limited number of food and water bowls (and treats) available upon request.

  • We’re always happy to accomodate groups and offer discounted rates for groups of five rooms and above - email events@theastromotel.com for more information and rates.
